We offer affordable and wonderful Reform style High Holiday services for the Chicago area or better yet, join the congregation. 

The cost of tickets has remained the same as it was for the past several year, only $85 per person for those over 13 years of age. Members of the family, 12 years and younger, will be admitted at no charge but must have a ticket.
As in past, services will be held at Caruso Middle School in Deerfield. 

 
We use the 1996 edition of the New Union Prayer Book.

Our dynamic team consists of Rabbi Ginsburg  

Rabbi Ginsburg has served Congregations in Brooklyn, Minnesota and Skokie. He has a BA in Religion from, University of Chicago and was valedictory orator in 1978
He was a National Merit Scholar and National High School Debate Champion in 1974
He has an MA and Ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America an attained the  award for outstanding student
His adult education programs achieved a Gold Medal Adult Education from the United Synagogue for Conservative Judaism 2009 and he was nominee for Community Hero of the Year by the Jewish Federations of North America 2011. he has taught at Universities in Minnesota and was President of the Nile Township Clergy Association and Minnesota Rabbinical Association. An extremely dynamic speaker, expect warm, meaningful, inspirational , spiritual and very pro Israel sermons. 
SERMON Topics will include: 
-What wisdom and insight does Judaism provide to help us navigate life and find meaning?
-Israel's miraculous achievements even as it fights for all of western civilization against pure evil
-What is the root meaning of the High holidays and what significance does it have in our lives?
-What is the current state of American and world Jewry?
-ISIS last week destroyed Jonah's Tomb. We chant his book as the Yom Kippur afternoon haftorah. Who was he and what is the book's message?

 

 Jessica Tobacman. She is a cantorial soloist in the Chicago area, who teaches Tefillah, Torah and Haftarah chanting, and music at the Congregation Beth Shalom Religious School in Naperville. She recently led High Holiday services at Kenyon College in Ohio. Prior to beginning her teaching position last year, she regularly led Shabbat evening services for the Young Adult minyan at Anshe Emet Synagogue in Chicago. She has also led Friday night services at Temple Anshe Sholom in Olympia Fields. In addition to voice, Ms. Tobacman has an instrumental background in guitar, piano, and viola. She holds an undergraduate degree with honors from Brandeis University, and a Master's degree from Columbia College.
