from WJD today" a dark claim appears to emerge in a Jerusalem Post article published Monday: The U.S. is likely to agree to a deal with Iran that will not completely halt its nuclear program, and pro-Israel forces in Washington appear to be resigned to it.
Trita Parsi, head of the National Iranian American Council, a group that often tends to apologetics for the Islamic regime, says that the Obama administration is likely to agree to a deal that "is not based on zero enrichment" of uranium.
Israel's official position is that it will accept nothing except a total halt to the Iranian nuclear program, including enrichment. Iran has been pushing to maintain its enrichment program at 20 percent, which would not prevent possible weaponization of the material.
In addition, Parsi claims that "there has been a noticeable toning down from Israel and from its supporters in Washington," meaning that pro-Israel forces are resigned to this outcome.
