Chicago Rally

Overwhelming interest in tomorrow’s community rally for Israel has prompted a venue change to accommodate the large turnout.

RALLY FOR ISRAEL

JUF's Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), in cooperation with the Chicago Board of Rabbis and JUF's Rabbinic Action Committee, encourage you and the entire community to come together for this expression of solidarity with Israel. We will be joined by elected officials, Israel's new Consul General Roey Gilad and civic and community leaders.

On his YouTube channel, which features more than 600 videos, Jonathan Ginsburg educates, preaches, and informs viewers of his opinions and knowledge on a wide range of topics including Jewish history, religious instruction, help with conversion to Judaism, and current events.

Jonathan Ginsburg was educated at the University of Chicago, where he earned a degree in Religious Studies in 1978. In his further studies, Ginsburg earned his Masters and Rabbinic Ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary in 1982, receiving awards as an exceptional student. Jonathan Ginsburg has served on the National Rabbinic Cabinet, the Minnesota Rabbinical Association. He was nominated for community Hero by the North American Jewish Federations in 2011.

Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg: he received his B.A. in religion from the University of Chicago-and was the valedictory orator. He received his Masters and Rabbinic Ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary - where he won the Award for outstanding student. He is a National Merit scholar and the 1974 USA National High School Debate Champion. He has been Adjunct faculty of St. Catherine College and Metropolitan University, teaching Judaism and Hebrew BIble He is one of the world's leading Jewish educators online, creating 8 websites, 20 blogs, and 550 educational videos with over 2.5 million views.
