Through his work at Esynagogue.org, and JewU an online portal for the Jewish faith, Jonathan Ginsburg has played a significant role in making Jewish culture, history, and ideology accessible to people throughout the world. As founder and President of Esynagogue.org, Jonathan Ginsburg posts information useful to learning more about the religion for both Jews and non-Jews. Drawing from 30 years of rabbinical experience, Ginsburg also offers guidance for practicing Judaism for people around the world through his long-distance conversion programs, Hebrew instruction, para-rabbi programs, and general knowledge DVDs. Jonathan Ginsburg was educated at the University of Chicago, where he earned a degree in Religious Studies in 1978. In his further studies, Ginsburg earned his Masters and Rabbinic Ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary in 1982, receiving awards as an exceptional student. Jonathan Ginsburg has served on the National Rabbinic Cabinet, the Minnesota Rabbinical Association. He was nominated for community Hero by the North American Jewish Federations in 2011.
