maybe you were created for such a moment.

Don't just take your kids to the Purim carnival. Reflect on the meaning of the story of the near genocide of the Jews in Iran 2400 years ago. Contemporary version. Iran moves closer and closer to nuks and keeps openly saying they want to destroy Israel. Disgusting racist Palestinian leader Abbas wants apartheid Palestinian state. No Jews allowed. Even though Jews lived on that land for 4000 years. And he's better than the murderers of little children Hamas in Gaza sending thousands of missiles aimed at just killing Jews. While in Cairo yesterday to meet with Egypt’s new leaders, Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas let drop a few remarks about the peace negotiations with Israel that began in Washington last night. As the Times of Israel reports, Abbas left no doubt about what his vision of peace entails:
“In a final resolution, we would not see the presence of a single Israeli — civilian or soldier — on our lands,” Abbas said following a meeting with interim Egyptian President Adly Mansour in Cairo.
and our disgusting Administration thinks Israelis should not insist on Abbas declaring Israel should be a Jewish State. Of course he won't. In place of Israel, he wants a Palestinian state and an Arab state. no Jewish state. And Obama just keeps blaming Israel for failure to reach a resolution. Obama to Israel evidently-commit suicide.
Recall Mordecai's words to Esther: maybe you were created for such a moment. Save us. Jews were spared in Purim story, not so much 60 years ago in Europe.

ZOA: Why Is Obama Admin. Increasingly Rejecting Israeli Visa Applications?

ZOA: Why Is Obama Admin. Increasingly Rejecting Israeli Visa Applications?

During 2013, 9.7% of Israelis who requested visas were denied
A report in Haaretz quotes an unnamed Israeli official saying that the rise in visa rejections probably stems from U.S. reluctance to allow Israel entry into the Visa Waiver Program. That policy allows travelers from 37 countries to enter the U.S. for business or leisure as visitors for up to 90 days without a visa.

That policy allows travelers from 37 countries to enter the U.S. for business or leisure as visitors for up to 90 days without a visa.
The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) has expressed concern at reports in the Israeli press that the Obama Administration is increasingly rejecting requests from Israeli citizens for visas to visit the United States. According to U.S. State Department records consulted by these reports, during 2013, 9.7% of Israelis who requested visas –– some 12,000 people –– were denied. This is a sharp rise on the figures for 2012, in which 5.4% of Israelis requesting visas had their applications rejected, itself a steep rise on the figure for just a few years ago, 2007, when only 2.5% of Israelis were rejected for visas. This is more than a three-fold rise in visa rejections in a mere seven years.
The U.S. has a ‘white list’ of countries whose citizens can come to the U.S. without a visa, but only countries with a visa rejection rate of less than 3% are put on this list. The recent growth in U.S. visa request rejections for Israelis forced Israel off that list.
This is more than a three-fold rise in visa rejections in a mere seven years.
The official said, “We have for years been waiting to drop below the 3 percent mark in order to obtain visa exemptions, but they keep raising the bar … In our view, this is being done artificially, with requests being denied for no good reason. In all other respects, we qualify for the program.”
Israel’s entry into the waiver program was included in a pair of broader U.S.-Israel bills last year that called for Israel to be granted a waiver if it, “has made every reasonable effort, without jeopardizing the security of the State of Israel, to ensure that reciprocal travel privileges are extended to all United States citizens” (‘More Israelis being denied U.S. tourist visas, report says,’ Haaretz, February 24, 2014).
ZOA National President Morton A. Klein said, “We are deeply concerned to learn that Israelis, in contrast to the situation in past years, are being rejected in record numbers to visit the United States for no apparent, justifiable reason. The absence of reasonable ground for these rejections leads only to the conclusion that the rejections are political in nature. In particular, as has already been suggested by Israeli officials, an effort has been made to prevent Israel from joining 37 favored nations whose citizens can travel to the U.S. for up to three months without visa.
“This is disconcerting, especially when coupled with other events that have occurred during the course of the Obama Administration ––

US must take out Iran's nuks

US General Warns America Must Take Out Iran

Posted on 3/11/2014 by

Former Deputy Under Secretary of Defense calls Iran existential threat, says US should lead attack or at least aid Israeli strike.

By Ari Yashar
The interim agreement between Iran and Western powers last November is a “farce,” according to Lieutenant General (ret.) William G. “Jerry” Boykin. The former senior military official warned that the US has only one option left — to take out Iran’s nuclear program militarily.
Boykin ended his successful 36 year career in the US military, highlighted by 13 years in the Delta Force and other special ops units, as Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence under President George W. Bush from 2002 to 2007.
Under the current interim agreement, which is criticized as giving Iran a free pass to continue its nuclear program, Boykin argues the US must either accept a nuclear Iran, or else lead a military effort to “take it out.”
Boykin, who is currently executive vice president of the Family Research Council, a conservative Christian lobbying group, warned that the Iranian nuclear threat is global, posing an existential threat to America as well as Israel.
The military man argued “Western logic” mistakenly reasons that Israeli nuclear capabilities would provide a deterrent against an Iranian nuclear strike.
However, under the logic of Iran’s Islamic regime, even in a case of mutual destruction “they still win, because the Jews are all killed and go straight to hell, but every Iranian, every Shi’a Muslim killed in retaliation is a martyr with a guaranteed place in heaven, and they destroy their most hated enemy,” assessed the general.
If America fails to act and an Israeli strike on Iran were to occur, Boykin argued the US should provide military and intelligence support for the Jewish state.
Boykin’s warnings follow those of senior military analyst Lt. Gen. Thomas G. McInerney last November, who warned that rising Russian and Iranian influence has put the US in the most dangerous situation it’s been in since the 1930s, just prior to World War II.

Haredi draft

In a historic move, the Knesset passed a bill ending draft exemptions for Haredi Jews on Wednesday.
The vote stood at an overwhelming 67-1, although this was mainly the result of the opposition's decision to boycott the vote. The bill nonetheless enjoyed a majority, and the boycott was not due to the issue at hand, but to the recent passage of an electoral reform that raised the threshold for entrance to the Knesset.
Government minister Yaakov Peri hailed the bill, saying, "For the first time, an issue at the heart of the conflict of Israeli society, will be solved. Dramatic change will come."
Naftali Bennett, leader of the national-religious Jewish Home party, echoed these sentiments, calling on Israelis to "roll up our sleeves and connect our haredi brothers to the economy and Israeli service. The time has come for unity."
The Haredi parties, however, lamented the passage of the bill, with MK Moshe Gafni declaring "The State of Israel has lost the right to be called a Jewish and democratic state today. The haredi public will not forgot and will not forgive Netanyahu and his partners for what they caused." He called the vote "a black day for the state."
The Haredi draft exemption has stood since Israel's inception; the result of a deal cut between then-Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion and the Haredi leadership.
In recent decades, however, the exemption has become extremely controversial due to the massive rise in the Haredi population and the widespread belief among secular and traditional Jews that they are being forced to shoulder an unfair amount of the burden of military service.
